Student Support Teams
As a student at FHS, you are automatically assigned a team to support your goals at school. You will be placed into a House office (1, 2, or 3) which includes an assistant principal, a school adjustment counselor, and a guidance counselor. While all members of a support team work to maximize the academic success, personal growth, and social/emotional welfare of each student, there are differences in the strengths of each role. Assistant Principals track attendance and discipline concerns. Guidance Counselors monitor students’ academic performance and long-term planning. School Adjustment Counselors support students’ social-emotional well-being as it relates to their ability to be successful in all areas of their school experience.
