Model UN Club

Description:

Model UN is a student-run group aimed at promoting global competency and knowledge on international relations on pressing global issues. We currently meet Tuesday afternoons in room 224, but this is subject to change. Model UN also attends student conferences, in which members emulate proceedings of a UN conference in their own committees. Committees range on a variety of issues from environmental policies to women’s rights. Last year, we attended the BC High conference in Boston, and took part in a variety of committees and had the opportunity to interact with other Model UNers from other schools in the New England Area. We will also be holding moderated discussions on current events. If you have any interest in pursuing a career in international relations, are interested in current events, or just want to get an idea of how the UN functions, stop by and join the club!
