Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye): Students with bacterial conjunctivitis shall remain out of school until they have received 24 hours of indicated treatment. Students with viral conjunctivitis (and not prescribed medication) should still be presumed contagious until symptoms resolve, but transmission can be controlled with adequate hand hygiene.
