School Volunteers
It is the policy of the Franklin School Committee to encourage utilization of volunteers in the schools. Parents, business representatives, senior citizens, and other community volunteers are recognized as important sources of support and expertise to enhance the instructional program and vital communication links with the community. The volunteer program will be coordinated in cooperation with building administrators.
All volunteers will be required to complete a Criminal Offender Records Investigation (CORI). Additionally, at the discretion of the superintendent, volunteers may be required to complete Criminal History Record Information Checks (CHRI).
