        Remote Participation Policy


 

It is expected that School Committee members will make every effort to be in attendance at meetings.  However, remote participation by School Committee members will be permitted subject to the following procedures:

 

  • Be limited to one member per meeting, on a first come, first serve basis;
  • Require 48 hour notice be given to the Chair and Superintendent’s Office;
  • Be limited to use in Council Chambers;
  • Shall not be allowed by subcommittees;
  • Shall not be allowed during executive sessions.
  • Votes taken will be done via Roll Call Vote
If technical problems interrupt the call and the member is disconnected, the fact and time shall be noted in the minutes.
