LDA - Student Teaching and Administrative Internships

The building Principal, with approval from the Director of Instructional Services, shall screen and interview student teachers desirous of student teaching experience in Franklin schools.  Selection shall be made based upon educational background and academic promise.  The student teacher shall be assigned to personnel who are considered to be highly qualified in the performance of their teaching duties.

 

The Superintendent and, when appropriate, a building principal shall screen and interview candidates desirous of administrative experience as an administrative intern in the Franklin schools. Administrative interns shall be assigned to personnel who are considered to be highly qualified in the performance of their administrative duties.

 

Every effort shall be made to recruit administrative interns and student teachers from all major colleges and universities.
