 Support Staff Positions 

Education is a cooperative enterprise in which all employees of the Franklin Public Schools school district must participate intelligently and effectively for the benefit of the students.  The district will employ support staff members in positions that function to support the education program.

All support staff positions will be established initially by the Franklin School Committee.  In each case, the superintendent will submit for the School Committee's consideration and action a job description or job specifications for the position.

Although positions may remain temporarily unfilled, only the School Committee may abolish a position it has created.
