Middle School Author Visit with Leslie Connor!
We are proud to announce that Leslie Connor has been selected as the middle school visiting author for the 2022-2023 school year!
About Leslie Connor
Leslie is a critically acclaimed author of several children's books. Notable recognitions include two ALA Schneider Family Book Award winners, Waiting for Normal and The Truth as Told by Mason Buttle, which was also selected as a National Book Award finalist. This will be her second time visiting the district, as she was our visiting author back in 2019. We are excited to welcome her back into our classrooms! Author Visit Timeline
Students will be visited by Leslie Connor at their buildings during the school day. Our visiting author will speak with the students regarding her novels, offer advice to students and answer questions from the audience!
Horace Mann Middle School: October 25th
Annie Sullivan Middle School: October 26th
Remington Middle School: October 27th
Note: There will be an Author's Evening Event held at Escape Into Fiction (12 Main St., Franklin, MA) on October 26th from 6pm-7pm. Families will be able to meet Leslie Connor and engage further with our special guest!
