FRANKLIN — Superintendent Lucas Giguere and Principal Maria Weber are pleased to share that a Franklin High School student was named as a Semifinalist for a National Merit Scholarship by National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), while 10 fellow seniors were honored as Commended Students.
Those Franklin High seniors recognized as Commended Students by NMSC as part of its 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program include the following: Arden Meyer, Ridika Gandla, Aodhfionn Downs, Charles Nash, Krithi Rajesh, Emma Anderson, Arsh Tyagi, Jonathan Mabardy, Keshan Kumar and Pranava Ponvinayagan.

Franklin HS students helped shuck 1,400 ears of fresh local corn on Tuesday September 14th to serve at all schools on Thursday September 16th. The corn was provided by Fisher Farms in Somerset, MA just 49 miles away!

The summer reading program, a long-standing requirement in Franklin Public Schools, calls on students to read at least two books over the break to support both academic growth and social-emotional development.

We are thrilled to announce the winner of the Franklin Food Service Logo Contest - Deeksha Pericherla, a talented 12th-grade student at Franklin High School!
Deeksha's design stood out for its creativity, professionalism, and the ability to capture the spirit of Franklin Food Service. Her logo beautifully represents our commitment to quality, community, and care.

Franklin High School featured fresh locally grown asparagus from Silverwood Organic Farm located just 13 miles from Franklin in Sherborn, MA. We served it with Red’s Best locally caught haddock bake at FHS! Don't forget to share, subscribe, and like our videos.
