Lockdown Drill Today we had our first required Lockdown Drill of the year. The Franklin Police Department were with us today as we conducted our drill across the entire complex at 224 Oak Street. The students did a great job listening to their teachers during the drill, and we were able to get back to learning. Please see the resource FAQs for Oak Street Lockdown Drill about lockdown drills and ways you can talk about this with your student. Contact us at any time with questions or concerns.

Lunch Bunch and Social Skills Groups At Oak Street, it is our goal to provide additional enrichment activities to various students and classrooms. One activity is the formation of some social skills/pragmatic language groups throughout the academic year. Our intention in offering these groups is to provide opportunities for your children to build friendships with one another while learning and practicing various social, communication, and problem-solving skills in a smaller group setting.
