School Council

About Us:

School Councils have been formed in the Franklin Public Schools in accordance with the Education Reform Act of 1993. The councils are comprised of parents, teachers and community members. The school principal co-chairs the council, along with an elected member. Guidelines for school councils have been set by the Education Reform Act. In general, it is the council’s responsibility to advise the school principals about school matters and to help develop a yearly School Improvement Plan.
