Spring Carnival - Save the Date!


We are excited to announce that the 21st Annual Jefferson Spring Carnival will take place on Friday, May 17th from 4pm - 6pm.


We have a Spring Carnival Committee! If you are interested in joining the Committee, or just helping out, please reach out to the committee chair Katie Boyce at kboycepcc@gmail.com for more information about volunteering or connections to possible event sponsors. The next virtual planning meeting will be held on Thursday, March 14th.

Simply search for your child's art using Art Search by entering the state, school name, and your student's name. Orders are due March 13th!

BOTTLES AND CANS COLLECTION - FRIDAY, March 1st

March Bottles and Cans Collection -

Kindergarten Wins!

Total collection of 1924 cans, 193 bottles, for a total of $95.27

Kindergarten collected 625 bottles and cans 

Third grade was second with 523 bottles and cans

Second grade was third with 364 bottles and cans

Jefferson Elementary students, staff, and families have been bringing redeemable bottles and cans in for over 20 years. We've collected well over 1,000,000 bottles and cans! Teachers are reimbursed for classroom spending through this account. Collections will be on Friday of the first full week of every month.

Our next collection is FRIDAY, April 5th. Volunteers will be out front and at the looper line Friday morning.  The grade that brings the most will get a special prize (and recognition on the website, of course).

    Accomplishments,  Reading Efforts

Reinforce with Reward

Reinforce the desired behavior and or habit by rewarding the student with a special Inchy golden token

Time to Vend a Book

Student can visit Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine™ to pick out their favorite book. Insert inchy token and make a selection.

Retrieve Book

Retrieve the book from the delivery bin. Watch the student’s excitement as they hold their new book for the first time!

Thanks to all for  helping bring the Book Vending Machine to Jefferson!!  And to Mrs. Callaghan for all of her coordination and stocking of the books!
