About Us

Welcome to Horace Mann Middle School! Horace Mann serves approximately 450 students in grades 6, 7 and 8.  It is part of a larger complex that also houses Oak Street Elementary and the town preschool, the F.X. O'Regan Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). The school is named after Franklin native, Horace Mann, the founder of public education in the United States.  The complex is located adjacent to Franklin High School and is centrally located in town. Horace Mann is the designated Middle School for students from the Oak Street and John F. Kennedy elementary schools. For more information, please click on the tabs to the left.
