This commitment is an integral part of our comprehensive efforts to promote learning, and to prevent and eliminate all forms of bullying and other harmful and disruptive behavior that can impede the learning process.

  • Title IX Investigative Training Based on the Amended Title IX Regulations Franklin Public Schools.  Training held: September 12, 2022

  • FPS Annual Mandated Training includes Discrimination & Harassment.  Training Held: Completed annually by October 1st.  Mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) requiring all employees to participate to ensure all employees know their rights and responsibilities (re: Policies AC–Non-Discrimination/Harassment, ACAB–Harassment Including Sexual Harassment)

Who is the Title IX Coordinator for the Franklin Public Schools?
The Title IX Coordinator is the responsible district employee who provides leadership, direction, and coordinates compliance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972.  Any student or employee who believes that they have experienced sexual harassment should promptly report their concern to the school principal or the relevant Title IX Coordinator listed.
