Spanish National Honor Society

Description:

The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The purpose of the society is to recognize high achievement of high school students in the Spanish language at Franklin High School and to promote a continuing interest in Hispanic Studies by engaging in various projects aiming for this goal. Once accepted into the society, students will promote Spanish language and hispanic culture in the community and work with the other members and advisors to complete at least 1 hour of community service in a activities aimed to fulfill the goals of the society.
