Philosophy Club

Description:

What is truth? What is beauty? What is the meaning of life? These and many other eternal and existential questions are explored each week by the students in the Philosophy Club, which is entirely student run and welcoming of all students whether they be longtime students of philosophy or merely curious to discover answers to life's most enigmatic questions. Each week students will explore a given question, perhaps even a specific philosophical position, and then defend and debate that theory in an open forum discussion. From time to time there will be an ancillary (optional) reading that students will explore in the days leading up to the meeting, or perhaps a brief video. However, the goal of the club is merely this: truth. We seek to discover it wherever it may be found. And to constantly question pre-existing truths to better understand ourselves and our world.
