**SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION**

The Override Vote

JUNE 11, 2024

The town of Franklin will hold a special election on June 11, 2024 relating to an override in real estate and property taxes to support our schools in Franklin - and the town budget overall (but primarily the schools in the first five years).  The override is intended to prevent over $6 million in cuts to the Franklin Public Schools’ budget for this coming year (and provide a stable budget in future years).

For more information about the budget presented to the School Committee as well as the budget presentation to the Town Council, click here.

**Whatever your opinions, please vote on June 11!**

Thanks to all who joined for the Brain Show Quiz Show!

The Brain Show visited the students of Jefferson Elementary for The Brain Show Educational Assembly during the day on Thursday, April 25 and that night, a Family Fun Night game show was held in the Remington gym.  The daytime school assemblies included questions in the students' grade level provided by teachers across the country.  The Family Fun Night is the pop culture version where families compete against families.

Thanks to all who participated, and to Kari Seletz for coordinating!
